Adam Atkinson, P.Eng.

Principal

Adam has over 19 years of experience in business operations management, project management, and engineering design management rooted with a strong foundation of hands on field experience in the oil and gas sector.  He has extensive leadership experience managing diverse teams of up to 75 staff and peak periods of up to ~5000 contractors, operating budgets of $100M, and capital budgets of $700M.  He has demonstrated business acumen having expanded a small-to-mid-sized engineering firm into new markets, and implemented projects and processes to improve profitability.  Adam has been fortunate to hold leadership positions through transformational changes in culture and business processes at both a large corporation, and small growing company. 

Adam started AORA Consulting in 2023 with the intent to share the proven best practices he is grateful to have learned over the course of his career to help businesses realize operational excellence.  He strongly believes in the power of collaboration, alignment, and accountability to achieve process optimization, organizational effectiveness, and scalability.
